Honest Architecture which suggests that: "It might not be aesthetically pleasing, but there is a beauty to its functionality." Greg describes it as essentially a hut on top of a lazy Susan but says it's cleverly done for several reasons: it meant Shaw was less reliant on an artificial light source; fewer windows were needed for direct light which kept it warmer in winter; and the direct sunlight entering the hut created passive solar heating
